THE FERAL HOG ERADICATION COMPANY
An Estimated 1.9-3.4 million feral pigs are creating an ecological nightmare in Texas and causing damages totaling over 100 million dollars PER YEAR. They can destroy your crops, fields, and destabilize wetland areas, springs, creeks and tanks.
Their rooting can create holes in the ground that can cause injury to your livestock and in some cases even your vehicles. The Texas Department of Agriculture estimates that each mature feral hog causes $50 to $500 of damage each year.
A REVOLUTIONARY FERAL HOG TRAP
With our unique feral hog trap, The Feral Hog Eradication Company (FHEC) can help you remove the feral hog population from your private property in a humane and environmentally conscious manner. FHEC has developed a hog trap that will catch the entire sounder. Feral pigs reproduce so quickly that if the entire herd is not removed in unison, the problem will only continue and the wild pigs will multiply. Even when the sounder is removed, other herds will move in over time. Wild pigs can start reproducing at the age of only 6 months and sows can have two and sometimes 3 litters of up to 12 piglets per year. Eradicating the feral hog population from your property is essential and it is FHEC’s recommendation that you encourage your neighbors to do the same.

Our hog trap can cover 1000-1500 square feet if needed.  With remote viewing, we can trigger the trap to trap the most hogs in each trap cycle and catch every fearl hog in the herd. Our goal is to catch between 20 and 50 hogs over a 15-day period.  Read more about our wild pig traps here.

The Feral Hog Eradication Company's mission is to trap these destructive animals and permanently remove them from the wild population. According to Texas AgriLife Extension Publication L-1925 Managing Feral Hog Damage, "Effective control methods used to manage a feral hog problem include using snares, live traps, hunting with dogs and shooting."  It states that "through various research demonstrations, live traps have shown to be one of the most effective ways to capture wild hogs. While we couldn't agree more, we also know from firsthand experience that the FHEC hog trapping method is the most effective, efficient, and economical way to trap feral hogs.
